A Life Coach Interview Continues….

Interview between Scott Kennedy and Lisa Wood.

Q5. What is the most rewarding part of being a Lifestyle Coach?

A. Remembering that to date I have not offered my services to the public for financial
remuneration. I have a number of businesses that allows me two pleasures with Lifestyle
Coaching and they are;

1. That there are no finance requirements attached to the outcome.
2. That I can take my time and choose to work with people that assistance.
I guess in a nut shell it is, ‘Making choices by design and not by necessity’.

Q6. Do you have any requirements when you are looking at taking on a new client that you know will either help them, or hold them back from achieving their goals?

A. The people I work with are normally recommended to me or presented to me by what I can only term as the Law of Attraction. This is also true of situations in a variety of other areas in my life. I regularly have opportunities offered to me that I don’t realise I have even asked for. This is sadly still quite foreign to most people but it has been a very strong influence in my life. A feeding influence of the Law of Attraction is belief and this is without question one of the important ingredients in achieving anyone’s goals. Having said that, please remember that without Purpose the goal ahead is an easier animal to tame.

Interview With A Life Coach
Friday, July 17th, 2009

Recently I had an Interview with a Lifestyle Coach and Mentor…well it really was a email interview as it is easier to interview via email than trying to set a time when I will be home/ and free of kids/ and for when the coach is available!!

Lifestyle Coach and Mentor

I have come to the conclusion that it takes a Mentor to make a program work. IT does not matter which program/system or goal/dream you have. To be successful you need to have a coach to be giving you guidance, homework, set goals and give you a kick up the butt if needed!!

So here is an Interview from one Coach to you guys for free!!!

WARNING:- Please remember that as a adult you can make informed decision and choices. I am not guaranteeing you 100% success from using any particular life coach, just giving you the information so you can decide for yourself if a coach is suitable for your success. I just know what works for our family…

Here is little bit of background from Scott Kennedy before we get into the questions and answer section

Scott Kennedy Lifestyle Coach and Mentor

(Word for word by Scott Kennedy) “Let me start by make a few details clear to you as I believe in total transparency when dealing on a person to person or person’s basis. Our unquestioning consumer mentality these days has more and more people taking products, information and services at face value with really knowing much about the offer.

I have developed my personal Lifestyle Coaching and Mentoring style from a long and varied history
dealing with a range of people and situations from teaching skills to the youth and senior citizens, sports coaching and development and mentoring in business and sports. I‘d like to make it very clear that I have no formal qualifications in the Lifestyle Coaching and Mentoring or Life Coaching and have gained all of my knowledge and experiences from the most wonderful university in the world, the University of Life which is not always the so called qualifications that people want. Having said that, I offer my Coaching and Mentoring skills on face value and leave it to each individual to decide as to whether they implement the information and skills we deal with.

I offer the following to people that are looking to have a personal or business relationship with someone;

Decisions in life regarding other people are based on 3 questions;
1. Do I LIKE them?
2. Do I TRUST them?
3. Do I RESPECT them?
And only you have the answers but remember, all 3 answers must be YES.”

OK, let’s get into the Q&A.

Q1. What Is The Most Important Aspect Of Coaching Others So That They Are Successful?

A. The Mental Game

Simply put, those that can tame the head will get ahead. It would not be news to anyone to say
success starts and ends with the way you think. So often you hear the great successes start with
the decision to embrace success and all that goes with the territory. I often talk to people that
cannot see themselves as successful, as a winner, as a leader or as the best in their field when
they are or quite possibly could be. When I take them through a simple question and answer
process they quickly identify with the one thing that stops most people from succeeding and
that is FEAR.

1. The FEAR of not succeeding.
2. The FEAR that they are not worthy.
3. The FEAR that people might think differently of them.
The FEAR is the one that everyone needs to face, fight and defeat. Some of us do it naturally and
find it very easy, others it is a challenge but one that is necessary when laying a strong
foundation to success.

To be continued next time……
