How To Go About Writing Sales Letters…That Sell!!
• Become your buyer
• Get The Big Idea
• Start with Headlines and Bullet points
• Conversational Copy
• Layout and Graphics
To become your buyer you need to put yourself in their shoes
• Send them out a copy questionnaire to understand where the
person you are writing for are at in their day to day
life
• Ask what keeps them awake at night?
• What are they afraid of?
• What are they angry about? Who are they angry at?
• What are their top 3 daily frustrations?
• What trends are occurring and will occur in their business or lives?
• What do they secretly desire the most?
• Why won’t customers buy from you?
Totally immerse yourself into your client/ and their buyers shoes.
Write bullet points from the information that is given to you from your
Client and turn them into one or two liners that can be used throughout
the sales letter.
The Big Idea
Visualize/ Meditate to help you understand the big idea…..intuition
comes into with a story line. Get inside the buyers head and tell them
how it is.
You need to tap into your creative mind and your creative words by
using time, sleep, meditation, visualization, memory and having a
clear head space. So you need to find out what works for you, to make
it possible for you to change yourself into your clients mind. If it
takes 20 minutes “catnap” to clear your head then use it.
If it takes a walk along your favourite location, then use your time
taking that walk. Once you tap into your subconscious mind to clear
your head, and give yourself space to create a mindset that is open to
receiving then that’s when you become a copy writer.
To become the best copy writer that is out there, does not take
a genius. IT does take using what information is available out there
and with the Internet at your finger tips to search on you tube,
Forums, Interviews and the questionnaire form….the speed of writing
the best of the best sales letter can be achieved.
Just find your burning desire….your clear head space…..placing
yourself in the clients/buyers shoes…..use your research tools and
you have the making of being the best of the best Copy Writer Of
Sales Letters.
Get your creative mind into gear and show me what you have got!!
